The three sectors
To illustrate the entirety of what is viable today and what will be possible tomorrow, Cleantec City is divided into three sectors:
|

|
"District of the future" sector
"District of the future" will be at the heart of the event. It will be presented to visitors as a kind of "themed area" which makes standards that are possible today a viable experience in an exhibition space of around 1,000 m². The design of the district will be characterised on the one hand by high-quality projects covering the subjects of supply, waste disposal/recycling, town and country planning/buildings and mobility. On the other hand, it will impress thanks to the way the scene, which includes crucial elements of modern town and country planning, is set on site. More...

"Encounters and networking" sector
Encounters and networking will have great significance at Cleantec City. Open-plan lounges will offer an outstanding environment for building up and maintaining contacts with visitors, public institutions, commerce, science and associations. An ideal place for discussions, finding solutions and exchanging experiences.
System providers will present complete solutions in surroundings which, apart from technical services, will also demonstrate tangible benefits and incentives. These will motivate decision makers from local authorities, towns and cantons to commit themselves even further to clean technology. The following will be kept in focus: sustainable energy and water supplies, environmentally-friendly waste disposal and the prevention of waste water, waste, contaminated sites and emissions, the responsible handling of land reserves, living and working spaces, as well as the safeguarding of environmentally-friendly mobility. |
"Knowledge and information" sector
The high-quality congress and conference programme will provide at various levels a comprehensive overview of the opinions, assumptions, facts and experiences of experts and specialists. This is how the 'visionary level' will deal with future challenges, general political conditions, social developments and the targets to be aimed at. The 'strategic level' will highlight how they can be implemented, what opportunities for competition will result and what business management success will look like. Various current examples of solutions will show what is already possible today, and round off the comprehensive overview at a tangible level.
